Transforming the face
of supported living
Specialist residential and supported living for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex support requirements.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the expertise of our extensively trained support workers, team leaders and management.— Care Assist Ltd
Transforming the face of supported living
At Care Assist, we believe the quality of care starts with the quality of our people. Our support workers, team leaders, and managers are extensively trained in their respective fields, with 24-hour access to senior support across all our homes.
We invest continuously in training and professional development, ensuring the people we support benefit from skilled, consistent, and compassionate care every day.
We take a modern, strengths-based approach to supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs — one that focuses on what people can do, not what they can't.
Support is tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and goals. We respect people's autonomy and work alongside them to make meaningful decisions about their own lives. We embrace neurodiversity, recognising that neurological differences are natural variations of human experience, not deficits to be managed.
We actively support people's mental and emotional wellbeing, recognising that individuals with learning disabilities can be disproportionately affected by anxiety, depression, and stress. Where needed, we help people access appropriate mental health services and ensure that support is joined up.
Families and carers are partners in the support we provide. We keep them informed, involve them in planning, and make sure they have access to the resources and guidance they need. We also advocate strongly for the rights of the people we support — ensuring equal access to healthcare, benefits, and services, and protecting everyone in our care from any form of discrimination.
A modern approach to supporting people
Person-Centred Support
We tailor support around each person’s needs, wishes, routines, strengths and long-term goals, ensuring they remain at the centre of every decision about their care and daily life.
Safe & Comfortable Homes
We create welcoming, stable and well-supported living environments where people feel safe, respected and able to develop confidence in their own home and community.
Promoting Independence
Our teams support people to build everyday living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, appointments, personal care and making positive choices about their future.
Safeguarding & Positive Risk
We protect people from harm while supporting positive risk-taking, helping individuals enjoy greater freedom, independence and control in a safe and carefully planned way.
Mental Health & Well-Being
We recognise the emotional needs of the people we support and provide calm, consistent and compassionate support that promotes stability, confidence and emotional well-being.
Health & Medication Support
We assist with health appointments, medication routines, care reviews and communication with professionals, helping people maintain their physical and mental health.
Family & Professional Partnership
We work closely with families, social workers, health professionals and advocates to ensure support is joined-up, transparent and focused on the best outcomes for each person.
Community Inclusion
We encourage people to access the community, build relationships, enjoy meaningful activities and take part in opportunities that support confidence, belonging and quality of life.
At Care Assist we take a modern approach
to supporting people
Our approach is rooted in the belief that every person, regardless of their disability or support need, can live a fulfilling life and contribute meaningfully to their community. That belief shapes everything we do.
